Q. Can I use my monthly membership pass with more than one vehicle?
A. No, the program is vehicle specific and limited to the vehicle that corresponds to the license plate on the account.
Q. When will I be billed for my Unlimited pass?
A. The day you sign up becomes your monthly payment date for each consecutive month you are on the program. No hassle and no fuss! Plus, cancel at any time.
Q. Can this monthly membership program be combined with other offers?
A. Since this is a discount program, Mr Kleen Car Wash, doesn’t currently offer multi-discount programs. But look for new and valuable ways to save every day with our discounts on upgraded Full Serve washes, Express Details, and our Full Detail Services.
Q. What forms of payment does Mr Kleen Car Wash accept?
A. We accept the following forms of payment: cash, credit/debit including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. However, we do not accept checks.
Q. What if I am not satisfied with my car wash?
A. Our goal is to provide an excellent experience for you. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your car wash, we will re-clean it for free based on the wash package you originally purchased. Please bring your receipt to any of our supervisors.
Q. How often should I wash my car?
A. Auto manufacturers suggest that your vehicle be washed after every weather event; a regular wash schedule is recommended to protect and maintain the exterior and interior of your vehicle. We recommend a minimum of twice a month.
Q. It just rained or snowed so why do I need to wash my car?
A. This is a critical time to protect your vehicle's finish. Pollutants such as sulfuric and nitric acids from automobile, truck and factory exhaust become trapped in the raindrops or snow flakes that settle on your car. The sun will evaporate the water and leave behind concentrated acid that can damage your car's finish.
Q. I have the protective coating on my undercarriage so why do I need to have the undercarriage treatment?
A. Our undercarriage treatment removes salt, sand, and other road contaminants that are present year round. The undercarriage of your car also takes tremendous punishment from small stones that are kicked up by your tires. These stones bombard the undercarriage and nick your undercarriage's protection and may expose bare metal. Once rust gets a foothold it will spread regardless of the protection.
Q. Will the wax from the car wash streak the outside of my windows?
A. The wax itself won't streak the outside of your windows. However, grease and oil can get trapped underneath your wipers, which can cause the rainbow like streaks you may see on your window.
Q. How can I tell if my vehicle needs waxing?
A. Clear coat paints make it more difficult to determine when your vehicle needs waxing. It may need attention far sooner than its appearance would indicate. When in doubt, there are two simple tests to try to determine when your vehicle needs waxing: First, wad a clean, dry terry cloth, and rub it along a clean upper surface of your vehicle’s hood or trunk. If you hear squeaking, that’s a sure sign that the vehicle needs waxing. Second, run your fingertips along the upper surfaces of your vehicles hood and trunk. If you detect rough spots or feel drag, you also know your vehicle needs waxing.
Q. What is Acid Rain?
A. When rain or snow falls it captures environmental pollutants from factory, automobile and truck exhaust. The sun heats and evaporates the water but leaves behind concentrated acid spots which cannot be removed. Prevention is the key here. Keep a good coat of wax on the finish and wash your car, especially after a rain or snowstorm.
Q. Does the Polish Wax really work?
A. Yes. The specially formulated polishes form a protective coating on the vehicles surface guarding against the suns harmful rays, acid rain, bugs, bird droppings and other substances that can harm the delicate surface.
Q. What do you use to hand dry my car?
A. We use high quality Microfiber Towels. The towels are washed after each use in a machine designed just for a car wash. The towel is always used damp because it's softer and gets into the nooks and crannies easily.
Q. Is the car wash safe for my convertible, vinyl or canvas topped vehicle?
A. Yes. Our state-of-the-art computerized car wash allows for gentle but effective washing.
